Then I copied the menus from project 2 back to project 1. I opended the project with Notepad and split it up into 2 projects. To remember, the case was the following: My project was that huge that it was not opening anylonger. The "Bug" was very special anyway, I am wondering that nobody else here had similar problems yet. I did not thought that you would be interested in. After removing ~20 Menus, it still needs very long to open, but it opens! I think DVDStyler is simply overloaded.Įhmm yeah sure, if you want so. It should seriously be DVDStyler! I opened my project with notepad to delete some Menus. If it is caused by some bad entries in your project file then running the conversion from the commandlone will not help you. Let's just hope that your GUI shutdown problem is really a DVDStyler issue. The value for EncoderMode must be set to vbr2pass_xhq. The relevant key is HKCU/Software/DVDStyler/Generate.

I understand what you mean, but do you really think that would help me in this case? DVDStyler would still try to open the project and terminate? I would just need to create the iso out of the projectfile without any changes in the project itself, it is a finished project already! I know the Registry, but I am not really familiar with it.
The GUI settings are stored in the Registry, and if you are familiar with regedit then you can easily change these settings without running the GUI. The GUI itself doesnt no even open, the Loadingscreen as attached before kills the process after ~15 Minutes without any message.

If that's not it, try rebotting and load you project before you open anything else. Sounds like a crash I've seen before for the same reason. But the waiting time for opening (>=10 minutes) is very annoying (and thrilling 😅, because whether to find out if the project will open or not, I need to wait more than 10 minutes every time). Short: If the program has opened once, I can work with it without any problems. And even then, maybe the program crahes again - I had to do all the same from beginning on because I cant open the project anyway - this cant be the solution 😓 Even though I actually had done this work already. To do all the work with all of them from the beginning is very laborious. This works so far, but it is very annoying because for every title I remove, I had to insert it new and meanwhile I have removed more than 30 titles. In the meantime I tried to help myself with moving titles around so that DVDStyler cant find them anymore in order to decrease "Loading-effort". When I discovered this bug for the first time, I had not changed anything. Did you change, move or rename a file or folder since you last saved your project?
